Red Hook Curry House

This has quickly become one of my favorite places to eat in Red Hook. The food is out of this world delicious, my personal top recommendations are the Shag Ponir for vegetarians and the Chicken Madras (if you're up for a spice challenge go for the Chicken Vindaloo). The owner works front of house and is very friendly, as well as the rest of the staff. I also recommend this restaurant to those who eat gluten free or have celiac disease, they are very accommodating and much appreciated by a member of my dining party.

Best Indian food I have had for a long time... tasty, subtle, great flavor. Super friendly and nice service.

This is one of my favorites Indian restaurants EVER!, The food is so delicious and is cook fresh you can see them cooking in the kitchen depending where you sit. It's always quiet when we go and I really like that. If feels like you are eating food cooked with love. Its just so good!!!!

They always do me right. The menu items are great, but their big winner is the sunday amd tuesday buffet. If you want authentic Tandoori style food, this is the place to go.

Don't judge from the outside! Authentic, homey, byob buffet. Loved the clearly defined vegan, vegetarian & meat options. The copper fired pots add to the warm aesthetic & the waiting staff were VERY watchful, helpful & HONEST! My husband left his phone on the table as we were leaving & a young man who was waiting tables immediately noticed & brought it to him. Great little place!

This is the absolute best place in the Hudson Valley for great authentic food. The Tandoori Chicken is brilliant and it goes nicely with the fish sauce. You must give the place a try and I’m positive you will become a frequent visitor. I will upgrade to five stars only if the owner starts to smile more. Great Staff, Great Food and a Great Location. Quite mediocre on all counts. We arrived about 7pm on buffet night, but still decided to supplement the buffet with an a la carte menu item. The place was packed. Some buffet service trays were empty on arrival, and stayed empty for the hour+ we were there. The sauces were mid-West palate bland, basically hiding the lack of substantial meats or vegetables. Nothing stood out as flavorful or carefully prepared. The price for 2 buffets and 1 a la carte veggie dish was $46. Not a good price-quality ratio. All in all, an easily forgettable meal and restaurant. 😐

I come to this excellent place every couple of days since I like the good mood that is unique to this restaurant. The crew is exceptionally friendly and skilfull. The service is deeply quick. Most important, the food they prepare is magnificent. I frequent more than once and I was always joyful. The cost is fair. I suggest this place to to all.

Everything is great and like everywhere else when it's busy expect to wait patiently.

The food is constantly well prepared and yummy, workers hands out fantastic service. I love the cleanliness and ambience. I highly recommend this spot.
